![]() ![]() Recalibrate the T.Flight Hotas X using the Windows game controller settings in Control Panel. Run the software install and it will uninstall any existing Thrustmaster drivers from your PC. To uninstall the Thrustmaster drivers, download the latest version of the software at Thrustmaster Support. To resolve this issue, these drivers need to be uninstalled. The Z-Axis limitation is a bug in the official Thrustmaster drivers. However due to the T.Flight Hotas X bug, as some users cannot assign the full 0% to 100% range, the game will fail to complete assignment of the Z-axis. When assigning the Engine Throttle, BoS requires the user to start at the centre, then push the throttle to max range and then mix range. For my joystick, during calibration Windows only recognised 0% to 83% of Z-axis range. The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X has a known issue where the Z-Axis (or throttle) sometimes does not recognise the full axis range of motion. I resolved an issue where the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X's throttle (or Z Axis) was not recognised by BoS on the PC, and are posting this in case other T.Flight Hotas X users find it useful: There's two buttons on the stick: "Mapping" and "Preset", and sometimes one hits one of them when picking up the stick from wherever you "stored" it (Assuming you don't have your stick standing on the desk in front of you all the time?) * Check if you haven't involuntarily activated the preset-recording mode. values for both ends of the spectrum on one specific axis (left/right, up/down, forward/back). It only reacts after you've given it max. deflection" and then "Now please press Rocker to the left until max. * Assigning the rocker: Follow Crash_Gordon's advice, and rock full left then full right - the game doesn't talk you through the procedure, like some others, you will not get messages like "Please press Rocker to the right until max. the Bf 109 was notorius for pilots having to stand on the rudder - it was mentioned in a RAF test-report of a captured Bf 109 that British pilots should make their breaking turns to the right (?) side, because the test-pilot was speculating that by the time the Luftwaffe pilots were close to Dover, their right leg would be weary. * "Plane pulls to the right" - Yup, it's supposed to do that. I also have the T-Flight X HOTAS and I use the rocker for rudder. ![]()
